  • LGBTQ+ & Gender Affirming Care

    Therapy aims to provide a safe space for self-expression, feelings and validation. Having a therapist that is in your corner and can help relate to your experience, empowers this relationship. LGBTQ+, questioning and transitioning youth can benefit from experienced clinicians in matters of identity, coming out, gender affirmation and gender health and safety. Our clinicians can help you navigate the complex and at times distressing journey of affirming one’s identity, through empowerment, validation, advocacy and resources.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

    Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an intervention strategy that can help young people balance some of the normative challenges of adolescence. More importantly, it can help those experiencing distress, emotional pain, interpersonal difficulties, and behavior problems such as, using substances, self-injuring, impulsivity and mood dysregulation. DBT targets the issues that cause a young person distress and teaches them the skills to cope and manage overwhelming emotional states.

    Expressive Arts Therapy is a treatment modality emphasizing the significance of the creative process, inner child, imaginative state, and self-exploration. Clinicians utilize different disciplines including arts, music, movement, drama, writing, and play to access underlying and subconscious parts of self that are informative in the therapeutic process. This evidence based practice aids in the treatments of multiple psychiatric issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, complex mood disorders, thought disorders, and processing challenges.

  • Problematic Sexual Behaviors

    While sexual exploration and play are a natural part of childhood sexual development, some children’s sexual behavior is more than harmless curiosity and requires specialized intervention. When sexual behaviors impacts the safety or well-being of the child and other children, it is important for families to obtain support and treatment. PSB therapy helps develop self-control strategies, pro-social skills, improve empathy and understanding of behaviors, parental guidance and navigating through potentially involved agencies.
